Announcement: We are pleased to report that we were recently awarded our CAGE # by the System for Awards Management. This allow us to serve the U.S. Government and Military through formal and informal contracts inserting S&S Photography in the SAM database for ease of contact. Our temperature controlled studio is conveniently located in the Medical District about a mile south of Huntsville Hospital and a mile east of Memorial Parkway and Bob Wallace Av. Please reference our Map.
All About Us
We are a mom and pop operation starting in 1977 and have served Huntsville and North Alabama since. We photographed wedding while working from our home until 1990 and have been in our current location ever since. We pride ourselves in offering the best quality product at the lowest possible prices.
In House Lab
Wanting to have total control of our quality, we installed our own lab in 1993 and began producing our images in studio. Subtle skin tones are maintained, while optimizing delivery times to a minimum. Large photos are no problem, up to 44" wide is available through our in-house lab, on many different textures of paper. We keep traditional "E" surface (lustre), glossy, matte as well as canvas, linen, and watercolor. Now offering Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper in several different surfaces. This paper has been produced since 1584 and boast some of the best quality and archival characteristics available.
We offer scanning services up to 12 x 18 and digitize larger images via copy camera. Slides, negatives or photographs, all scanned at affordable rates. Quantity discounts available.
Reproduction Grade Copies
We can digitize your artwork to produce numbered copies, enlargements or just keep as a reference. Size is no limit. Don't wait until that painting is sold, archive it to your cloud.
Social Events
Why not have a photographer at your event. We cover ribbon cuttings, grand openings, parties, holiday parties, news announcements and others.
Projects
We can help with your design project. Put together presentations through slideshows, digital business cards or large composites. We photographed the Madison County Bar Associations 2015 composite comprising over 450 Attorney, DAs and Judges. In 2010 we photographed 425 attorneys for the Madison County Bar Assoc. After completion of a 4 foot X 5 foot composite, it will hang in the Madison County Courthouse indefinitely. Your project may not need that longevity, but special attention to the details is still important to us.
PPG Aerospace commissioned S & S Photography to document the photographic process of executive portraiture achieving consistency throughout the world for all PPG locations.
US Army's MWR asked S & S Photography to facilitate the framing and restoration of a portrait of General John J. Pershing that now hangs at Redstone Arsenal's Army Community Welcome Center.
